Dear Friends:
They were supposed to hold a rally here in S.W. Ontario to protest being locked down due to COVID-19. (Like they had in Detroit and other U.S. locations!)
The promoter(s) of the rally being held up here in Canada were spreading the message on social media.
Police were ready to crack down on a protest (Seemingly a move to rebel against temporary business shutdowns.) outside St. Thomas city hall.

But then no one showed up.
YUP:
Nada!
These American "shit-kickers" forgot one thing kids, this is Canada....... not the Wild West States!
There is no "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"
Nope:
Up here it's "peace, order, and good government" (POGG)
In many Commonwealth jurisdictions, the phrase "peace, order, and good government" (POGG) is an expression used in law to express the legitimate objects of legislative powers conferred by statute. The phrase appears in many Imperial Acts of Parliament, most notably the constitutions of Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It is often contrasted with "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", a spiritually analogous phrase found in the US Declaration of Independence.
“If anybody was waiting in the wings, they certainly didn’t have the intestinal fortitude to come forward at the end,” St. Thomas police Const. Tanya Calvert said, noting concerned citizens originally alerted police to a social media post planning the protest.
“It was clear to us from the beginning, people did not want this here.”
And the original promoter may not even be from St. Thomas, but rather from the States, the police department said.
Maybe it’s just people – or bots – stoking dissent online.
Maybe supporters fretted about being hit with a hefty $750 fine for violating emergency orders meant to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whatever the reason for the no-show protest in St. Thomas earlier this week, the London region seems to be eschewing the kind of loud, angry rebellion taking hold in some U.S. states.
The way I see it anyway!
(NOTE: DON'T TELL PEOPLE THAT IT'S BAD TO INJECT OR DRINK BLEACH...... IF THEY'RE THAT STUPID...... THEN IT'S TIME WE THINNED THE HERD!)
