Dear Friends:
With major highways being less travelled than normal somebody just set a new record for the "Cannonball Run!"

Ah yes, I remember it well!Roads that are emptier than usual have provided simply too much temptation for illegal racers hoping to get their names in the history books for breaking the Cannonball Run.
The notorious street race that begins at the Red Ball Garage in NYC and ends some 4,500 km away at the Portofini Inn in Redondo Beach, California has been busted seven different ways since the U.S. government imposed COVID-19 lockdowns. It’s not known which dummy in which car currently holds the record, but consider that in order to break the previous record of 26 hours, competitors would’ve had to keep up an average speed of around 193 km/h across “several” states. Wow! That’s almost as fast as it is stupid!
