The Ultimate case of political correctness!

Over the past few weeks I have been talking about how it's now O.K. to run down and discriminate against Christians, Christmas, Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, mainstream society and anyone who is part of the old "Establishment!"

At the same time, God help you if you say anything bad about, or even worse, insult Muslims, Gays, Blacks, Women or Dwarfs!

Even Affirmative Action is not immune because people use that as an excuse to hire unqualified people instead of the more experienced if they happen to be part of a minority!

(That's also why, in my profile, I describe myself as; "A Semi-Retired Broadcaster and Journalist. Middle-Aged W.A.S.P. (White, Anglo Saxon, Protestant) heterosexual, gainfully employed and reasonably sane male." In other words, an endangered species!)

Brazil's President, while meeting with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown yesterday, said the global financial crisis was caused by "white people with blue eyes."

Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva made made the comments after talks with Brown to try to forge a global consensus on how to save the worldwide economy.

During a press conference, da Silva, a socialist who told Brown poor countries should not have to suffer because of the mistakes of the rich, suddenly pointed his finger at Brown and said, "This is a crisis that was caused by white people with blue eyes. And before the crisis, they looked as if they knew everything about economics."

Sky News' Joey Jones tells us here at "Perspective;" 'It was an uncomfortable moment for Brown.'

"The President does not mind using fairly flamboyant language. He likes to give extensive answers to journalists," he said. "But some of it was rather awkward for the Prime Minister, who was standing there listening to the President. A few eyebrows will have gone up at what he said."

Say what ya will folks, I'm not giving in to this P.C. crap. A Native North American is still just an Indian to me!
