Saturday Morning Confusion #55

Here it is the weekend again, another week gone by and your humble author is more confused than ever.

Dear reader, I missed the boat last week!

Susan Boyle, that self-effacing woman from Scotland who took "Britain's Got Talent" by storm last Saturday night is just getting more and more popular.

I got a video of her on Sunday Morning from a friend in Scotland, and since I was just writing "Sunday Morning Funnies' I decided (Against my better judgement.) to put it on the shelf......, and wouldn't ya know it, she becomes a world-wide star.

I could have broken the story, but you know what they say; "If ya snooze... ya lose!"

Fearless Leader Kim Jong-ill of North Korea said Saturday any sanctions or pressure applied against it following it's rocket launch earlier this month will be considered a "declaration of war."

In an announcement on state-run television, he said they were ready to step up efforts to develop nuclear weapons and poised for a military response to any moves against it.

"The revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK are always keeping themselves fully ready to go into action any moment to mercilessly punish anyone who encroaches upon the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK even a bit," he said.

I have said it repeteadly and I will say it again folks, this guy needs to be killed.

Like in never to come back, put him in the ground and throw dirt on him.... dead!

While we are on the subject, we have word from CNN about Kim Jong's evil twin brother!

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- The Iranian president on Saturday hailed the nation as "one of the strongest in the region" during a celebration to mark Army Day, according to the semi-official Mehr News Agency.

"Today our nation is one of the strongest in the region and a great part of the world," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, according to Mehr. "And no country dares to threaten it."

I have an idea! Put em both in a metal cage and let them fight to the death to see who is the toughest....... and then we shoot the winner to the moon, where they would become the new "Man in the Moon!"

They're probably egomanical enough to go for it!

And finally a personal note......! You have heard me say more than once that the war in Iraq was contrived, the Afghanistan war is bogus, because we will never win there anyways, and, that is not where our attention and efforts should be directed.

Where then, you might ask?

Go ahead, ask!

Well I'll tell ya bunky!

Pakistan! Pakistan, Pakistan, Pakistan.

They are dangerous, they have nuclear weapons, they are going to get in a war with India, they have vast lawless regions where the population is stuck in the eleventh century, they have religious fanatics coming out their kazoo, it's a training ground for Al Quaeda around the world, and it's home base and refuge for the Taliban.
