Why America is in decline!

We can explain the whole thing in one word kids!

METRIC!

And we can explain why in a short sentence............!

When I say "metric" most Americans automatically assume that I mean "going metric" is the reason the U.S. is in decline, instead of the reality that "not going metric" is the culprit!

That's right, most people in the U.S. of A. refuse to change their ways, and want to sit i n blissful ignorance with blinders on while the rest of the world marches forward!

Here is a paragraph out of a car magazine that puts the whole thing into "Perspective!"

All around America, you can see the failed attempts at converting to the metric system. The half-liter juice box. The smattering of highway signs listing kilometers.

But the one place where metric lives on --and needs to die-- is our cars.

That last sentence is the reason North American society is stagnating and falling behind the rest of the world.

With the exception of Upper Slobania and a few island in the Pacific every country on the planet has gone "metric" except the States.

This refusal to change has gripped all levels of American society, and the lack of education and even general "knowledge" (Like the fact that the world is a lot older than 6000 years!) is an indicator of the slippery slope our neighbours to the south are on!

American society had better look at the writing on the wall before is becomes the writing on their tombstone!
