Since today is Canada Day I thought I would tell you a few stories on why it is interesting, and sometimes outright fun, to be a Canadian!
The Queen is in Canada for a nine day tour and the highlight of her visit will be her attendance at the Queen's Plate race this Sunday!
(If you don't know, the Queen's Plate is Canada's equivalent of the Triple Crown in the States and is also the longest running thoroughbred race in North America!)
By coincidence, Toronto's Gay Pride parade is this Sunday too and some quick witted fag suggested to the Queen that she might also want to make an appearance in the parade before going out to watch the races at Woodbine!
After much deliberation the Queens stated that if the Premier of the Province, the Mayor of Toronto and the Police Chief of Toronto can attend this event,(?) then by golly, she could too!
I have to admit that it will be interesting to see her on the lead float all dressed up in sequins and whipping Prince Phillip as she leads the parade!

Even getting into this country can be an adventure, if not always fun!
Steve Ellis, 50, has pleaded not guilty to breach of trust and an Immigration and Refugee Protection Act charge of bribery.
Seems Ji Hye Kim first appeared before Ellis in his capacity as an immigration judge on July 17, 2006, when she was 25 and Ellis 46.
Stevie immediately took a shine to the lovely Ji Hye and made a few inappropriate suggestions that might help her get into the country faster!
(Wink, wink, nod, nod, know what I mean?)
Only problem was that the lady had a boyfriend......., and he videotaped a lot of the transgressions, which were later used in court to show Stevie was being naughty!
The trial has been delayed a few weeks while Steve is given a mental exam after his lawyer raised an insanity defense! This was because our hapless hero was overheard saying: "I'm just crazy about that girl!"
Allan W Janssen is the author of the book The Plain Truth About God (What the mainstream religions don't want you to know!) and is available as an E-Book H E R E! and H E R E! And as a paperback H E R E ! and H E R E !
