I spent a beautiful summer there, but when winter approached I started to pay attention to the stories of how awful it could be there if ya weren’t an outdoor type guy!
(Let’s face it folks, if you don’t like winter, then Lindsay might just as well be Timmins for all I cared!)
Matter of fact, let me tell ya just how bad it can get there if you have the “winter blues!”
The couple, whose names were not released, was charged with domestic-related assault.

LINDSAY, Ont. – A couple was arrested early Friday morning after assaulting each other with chips and dip over the last beer.Police in Lindsay, Ont., northeast of Toronto, had previously been
called to the home 15 times and again arrived at the home at 1:15 a.m.
Friday.
They said they found a 39-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman covered in chips and dip after allegedly fighting over the last beer, City of Kawartha Lakes Police said.
There were no reports of injuries, or who had the last beer.
