Dear Mom!
I’m sorry I haven’t written much lately, but you know how it is when ya get busy!
I was going to write several times, but then this or that came up and by the time I got around to it there was nothing left to tell.
However,
over the last few days we had a terrific amount of rain and a lot of
places north of here experienced flooding……………., and I was afraid we
might get it too!
There was more rain on the way over the next 12 to 24 hours, BUT, the guy on the radio said it would be: “nothing to write home about,” so I guess I don’t have to say any more!
I can’t think of anything else, but if I do I will be sure to write to you right away!
