The left-wing is crazy and the right-wing scares the shit out of me!

Allan's Perspective is NOT recommended for the politically correct, or the overly religious. Some people have opinions. Some people have convictions......... What we offer is PERSPECTIVE!

What can we protest about his week, folks?

Ladies and Gentlemen, a couple of things have come to my attention and first of all I would like to show you an article in the London Free Press Ltd. this morning.

Image result for march against monsanto
" This week was the march against Monsanto in downtown London. Many gathered together to vocalize concerns and spread awareness about the use of GMO's (Genetically Modified Organisms) along with thousands of other activists in more than 400 cities around the globe!"

Wait a minute, let's back the truck up a bit and 'get things back into perspective' here! (God I love that word.)

Do ya like apples, bunky?

Remember the story about Johnny Appleseed spreading a new type of apple around North America in the early 1800's?

That's right kids, GMO.

OR.

Have ya ever heard of Triticale, or Triticalia?

A dish filled with Canadian triticale. This is a brand of wheat that has done wonders for the Canadian wheat growers: Triticale (trit uh KAY lee) is a hybrid small grain produced by crossing wheat and rye. The name combines the scientific names of the two crop species, that is, wheat (Triticum) and rye (Secale).  Although a relatively new genotype, the history of triticale goes back to the late 1800s when the first crosses were attempted. Over the next 50 years, isolated experimentation and research occurred throughout Europe and the Soviet Union. It was not until the 1960s that the first commercial releases became available for producers. Both winter and spring types were developed, with emphasis on spring varieties and this had increase Canadian wheat production enormously. "Conventional plant breeding has helped establish triticale as a valuable crop, especially where conditions are less favourable for wheat cultivation. Triticale being a synthesized grain notwithstanding, many initial limitations, such as an inability to reproduce due to infertility and seed shrivelling, low yield and poor nutritional value, have been largely eliminated."

Well, that's an example of genetically modified plants and vegetables, but how about some of the other GMO's?

Do you have a pet dog? Nothing more than a genetically modified wolf, bunky!

Yup, GMO's are everywhere folks, and the only way to get around this is to go back to being a hunter-gatherer cave-man! (Sorry, cave-person!)

[MATTER OF FACT KIDS, GMO's BEING BAD FOR YA CARRIES ABOUT AS MUCH WEIGHT AS WIND TURBINES BEING DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR HEALTH!!!!!]

Now, that other thing I talked about ...............!

Big stink in a high school here in London about a female student who got sent home for violating the school dress code!

More than 100 Lucas secondary school students defied their school dress code as part of a protest organized by Laura Anderson, who was sent home by a vice-principal for ‘inappropriate” dress Monday. (DEREK RUTTAN, The London Free Press)Seems she went dressed as some sort of low-life that couldn't afford anything better! (crappy top, and ripped, awful looking jeans!)

Well, didn't these little darlings turn it into a political issue by saying this "objectifies" women.

THIS IS NOT A FEMINIST, OR SEXUAL ISSUE BOYS AND GIRLS, IT'S A CASE OF POOR TASTE AND LACK OF ANY FASHION SENSE!

(They must also have low self-esteem to dress this way!)
