Animal Rights Activists Have No Sense of Humour!

You might remember a story we told you about a few days ago about a group of radical vegetarians who were protesting outside of some of London's top eateries, and hassling customers as they arrive and leave with pictures of slaughtered cows, and pigs, and chickens, etc.

WELL! Restaurant staff got back at them by going up to the roof and dumping water on the protesters.

Seems these hard core veggie types don't have much of a sense of humour folks, (must be from that lack of meat) because now they are hassling the cops to lay assault charges against the perpetrators of this dastardly deed!

---------------------------------------

MEANWHILE: The meat industry is still reeling after a report on the weekend that processed meat is as bad for ya as cigarettes or asbestos ...................!

Look folks, somebody is out to lunch [sic] here, and I don't think it's you and me!

This is one of those cases where I come down right on the side of the cops:

We all know how difficult teens can be, and some are just downright obnoxious and confrontational with adults.

Here is a high school girl was was asked to leave the classroom by her teacher ...., and then by the principal ........., and finally removed by a security guard!

The attorney for a teen who was flipped backward out of her desk and tossed across a classroom says his client did suffer several injuries during her arrest after all.

Columbia attorney Todd Rutherford told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Wednesday that Richland County Senior Deputy Ben Fields should have been fired as soon as Sheriff Leon Lott saw the video recorded by several students at Spring Valley High School in Columbia.
"She now has a cast on her arm, she has neck and back injuries. She has a Band-Aid on her forehead where she suffered rug burn on her forehead," Rutherford told the network.
Lott had said Tuesday that the girl was uninjured in the confrontation but "may have had a rug burn."
Videos taken by students and posted online show Fields warning the girl to leave her seat or be forcibly removed Monday after she apparently texted in class and refused to surrender her phone to the teacher. When she doesn't get up from her desk, the officer wraps a forearm around her neck, flips her and the desk backward onto the floor, tosses her toward the front of the classroom and handcuffs her.
The sheriff suspended Fields without pay Monday. Lott, who rushed home from an out of town conference when the news broke, said that a teacher and vice principal in the classroom at the time felt the officer acted appropriately.
Lott said the initial video made him want to "throw up." But he also pointed out that the girl can be seen trying to strike the officer as she was being taken down. He said he's focused on the deputy's actions, not the student's.
Email, phone and text messages for Fields were not returned.

FOLKS THE WEIRD THING ABOUT THIS WHOLE INCIDENT IS THAT THE GIRL AT FIRST SAID SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANY INJURIES ....., BUT THEN A FEW DAYS LATER SHOWED UP IN A NECK BRACE, CRUTCHES, A CAST, A PATCH OVER ONE EYE, IN A WHEELCHAIR, AND ON LIFE SUPPORT!!!!

PLUS!

SHE'S ALSO PLAYING THE 'RACE CARD!'

Remember hurricane Patricia,  the worst storm of all time ...., that fizzled out as soon as it hit the mountains in Mexico?

In the past couple of days the remnants of this storm has been working its way north, and today we are getting heavy, heavy rain, and a chance of flooding, here in S.W. Ontario.

Not a fit day for ducks, let alone people!

(I remember back in 2005 we just missed a hurricane that roared up the east coast and dumped on Newfoundland, but then it caught up to us a few days later when we were in Scotland ....., and it pissed rain for the whole week we were there!)

In 1969, NASA possessed the technology to land on the moon, but not the technology to fake the moon landings!
