Well folks, it happened!
Some of the Republican candidates for President said they wanted to build a wall between the States and Canada ......, so the U.S. government has already started preliminary work on a 12' high steel wall across the entire 8000 km stretch of border between the two countries.
Once touted as the longest undefended border in the world, our southern neighbour is slowly isolating itself from the rest of the continent by preparing for construction of the wall in this section of Vermont and Quebec!
(Looking West - The clear cut line near the bottom of the picture is where power lines run into the States from Quebec. Note: These will NOT be stopped since the U.S. needs the electricity!)
