Dear Friends: "Let's get things back into perspective here!"
I faithfully read a blog called "The Daily Galaxy" since it has articles about science that I find interesting, yet not technical enough that they become hard to understand. A while back I had a disagreement with the guy who moderates the site (It was so long ago that I don't even remember what the beef was about) and as a result any comments I make seems to get deleted pretty quick.

"Gravity is an Illusion" --The Theory That Predicted Gravitational Waves May Be Wrong!
I'd like to draw your attention to that old adage: "When all else fails, the simple solution is usually the correct one!" (When you hear hoof-beats, look for horses, not zebras.)
Over the past several years I have maintained that science is needlessly making things more complicated than they need to be (or should be) and this whole dark matter, dark energy thing is a prime example. Some "genius" noticed that stars on a large scale were not behaving as they should, so they postulated that there was much more mass around than we could account for to explain this phenomena ...., and started looking for this "invisible dark matter" instead of looking at our theories of gravity itself. (The simple solution)
The same sort of thing goes with "dark energy!" Is the Universe really about 3/4 dark energy, or is there something wrong with our hypothesis concerning gravity on a large scale. (Matter of fact, while we're at it, scientists might as well re-visit quantum theory in general because something is definitely out of whack!)
When everyday life goes wrong for these egg-heads the best course of action is to "go back to the basics" instead of falling further and further down a rabbit hole! (Or gravity well)
