A few months ago I mentioned that one of the ways we could solve the problems they are having in the United States was to cut military spending by about half!
Boy did I get an earful! (And mostly from Conservatives I might add. This criticism about the reducing the size and cost of the military came from the same people who want to bring coal jobs back and have the States retreat into an isolationist policy as far as foreign relations and commerce goes.)
That's right boys and girls, these are the people who want to apply twentieth century solutions to twenty first century problems. (They're also the people who voted for Drumpf!)
The United States of America has a military that is bigger and badder than the next nine countries in the world combined, but nobody seems to realize that future wars will be cyber in nature and having a whole bunch of planes, tanks and ships is fast becoming 'obsolete warfare' (at least on a global scale) and draining the economy and well being of America.
Put the money from yesterday's news into tomorrow's problems kids and everyone will be better off!
The way I see it anyway!
