Give the woman a break folks!

Dear Friends: If someone has a cause to get behind or promote then they are to be congratulated for their civic mindfulness and sense of duty and fair play.

If, however, they go off on a tangent with some supremely stupid shit, then you should make a mental note that these people are a little unhinged, and should be given a wide berth! 

Take this example:

Ivanka Trump tweeted a photo of herself with her young son:

The eldest daughter of President Donald Trump, who serves as an advisor to her father, posted the picture of her with her son on Sunday, with the caption: "My Perfect Sunday Morning."

Ivanka Trump is facing an online backlash for tweeting what one critic called a "tone deaf" photo of herself cuddling her son as outrage grows over a federal government policy to separate the children of undocumented migrants from their parents.

Now, here's the  kicker folks, even though I don't like the Trumps very muich I fail to see why a photo of Ivanka with her kid can be equated or compared to a "zero tolerance" policy announced earlier this month by Attorney General Jeff Sessions that authorizes border security agents to take away the children of people who enter the United States unlawfully.

What we have here is a bit of "cognitive dissonance" folks!

Many others tweeted using the #WhereAreTheChildren hashtag.

P. S. Maybe there was something in the water over the weekend that caused all this hysteria and nonsense!
