Dear Friends:
Sitting in my easy chair this afternoon I went on one of my "Sunday Philosophical Journeys" and pondered the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence. (Since everybody seems to be yapping about how the computers are going to replace us in the near future!)
Well, let me tell ya something kids.
It ain't gonna happen..... and there's a good reason for this!
Computer intelligence is raw computing power and no matter how complex it becomes it is missing something that a "Human" Intelligence possesses.
THAT SOMETHING IS A "DIVINE SPARK!"
Ordinary matter is just an inert lump that doesn't do anything at all........ it just sits there!
Living matter, on the other hand, is somehow connected to, or an expression of something we call God, or Mother Nature, The Force or Cosmic Consciousness..... and that immediately takes it to a whole different level than mere lumps of dirt........... or computers.
We, as human beings, seem to be the most advanced and intelligent of all living matter (MATTER that possesses this "God Force") and no matter how advanced a computer or robot with a positronic brain can become.... they will not have this "divine inspiration" and will, therefore, lack such things as Ambition, Intuition and EMOTIONS!
This "Divine Spark is what will forever set us apart from the stuff we can make with our own two hands! (You see....... I AM religious in my own way!)
