Dear Friends:
Lots of things to consider this fine weekend..... and let's get right to it!
1. First of all, we have the case in the U.S. of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich who is a retired American politician who served as the 40th Governor of Illinois from 2003 until his impeachment, conviction, and removal from office in 2009. (Yup, Rod was totally corrupt and tried to sell Obama's Senate seat when Barak moved up to the job of President of the United States! What is Rob's current crime you ask........ yesterday in an interview with Anderson Cooper...... he claimed the Justice System is corrupt....... for sending him to prison in the first place!)
2. Then, up here in the Great White North, we have a Prime Minister who is so Lilly-Assed that he allows a bunch of Indians who are doing serious harm to the Canadian economy to dictate terms to him regarding their blockade of major rail lines around the country! (Yesterday during his press conference..... instead of giving the Indians until noon today to go away or go to jail....... he actually backed down from them.... and made himself (And Canada) look like a bunch of spineless fools!
AND:
3. A bunch of "hereditary chiefs" of the Wet'suwet'en (5 of them) claimed jurisdiction over the 20 duly elected band councils of the Wet'suwet'en....... in the hopes of being able to cash in on the money the Canadian Government is throwing around! (To the tune of $BILLIONS of dollars!)
Now there are lots of other things going on folks......., but first I have to go and take a valium to calm myself down again!
