Dear Friends:
Well after ten painful days of recovery at the London University Hospital I.C.U. cardiac unit, your long-suffering reporter is slowly on the mend. (P.S. Maybe later in the week I will give you a brief description of what they did to me.....but for now the memories are still a little too fresh in my head!
They had to repair the mitral valve, and also some scheduled dusting and leaning of the pulmonary system in general. (University hospital is world-famous for brain surgery, transplants and cardiac surgery...... and Dr. Michael Chu did a wonderful job.)
Now the only thing I have to do is spend about a month recovering and getting my strength back!
