Since this is Sunday a lot of my Christian friends will be going to church today and a thought just struck me that you should maybe consider as you sit down for today's Service or Mass!
Does God NEED (or even want) to be worshipped?
No, really!
Given the nature of God as we know it, we must surely revere, honor, like, love and obey.
But, does God need our worship as well?
Is God that vain?
Or, could this be a con job dreamt up by the local priest, rabbi, Imam, witch doctor or shaman to put themselves in charge?
After all, just by the very nature of God I don't think God needs, or even wants, to be worshipped.
But, I CAN see a lot of advantages for the local holy man to tell us this, since he is the one handling all the communication between us and our "Heavenly Father!"
You know, like a "not-so-honest broker!"
That's right kids, Religion is one big con job.
But it's not perpetrated by God, no sir!
It's done by that grifter you see every Sunday...............!
Wanna talk to God?
Go off by yourself and pour your heart out!
