Big Brother is more than just a TV show!

He has written an article tht will not only make you pause to think, but might also scare the hell out of ya too!

We have all read about the survelliance camera's that seem to be everywhere in England and how you can't go anywhere in the bigger cities without being followed and recorded.

Unless you have been in a cave all your life, you know that the book "1984" (which was written in 1948 by George Orwell) tells the story on one "Winston Smith" a "civil servant" assigned the task of perpetuating a future regime's Propaganda by falsifying records and political literature, controlling the media and spying on every citizen in the country! (You not only watch TV....... the TV watches YOU TOO!)

The novel has become famous for its portrayal of pervasive government "surveillance" and control, and the government's increasing encroachment on the rights of the individual.

Since its publication, many of its terms and concepts, such as "Big Brother (Nineteen Eighty-Four)" "Doublethink" and "Newspeak" have entered the popular vernacular.

The word "Orwellian" itself has come to refer to anything reminiscent of the book's fictional regime.

Well, you better sit down kids because the world depicted in this book is not only close....... IT'S ALREADY HERE!

Other than the North Korean's, the British are the most video taped people in the world with one CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) camera for every 14 people in the country!

THAT WORKS OUT TO ALMOST FIVE MILLION CAMERA'S FOLKS!

But that'snot all bunky!

Oh no!

Earlier this yer, Greater Manchester Police introduced "Smart Cars," and we don't mean those cure little BMW puddle jumpers.

These cars are equiped with rotating camera's on 12 foot poles poking through their roof's.

Then; "Anyone seen driving while distracted......... eating at the wheel, playing with the radio, applying makeup or, God forbid........ reading," is filmed by the cameras.

Shortly after, they get a letter and a fine!

Now it gets even better, bunky!

Sit down!

Your much suffering author has discovered that starting this month, the "Secretary of State for Children" announced that 20,000 "PROBLEM FAMILIES" will be put under 24 hour CCTV supervision "IN THEIR HOMES" to monitor whether their children attend school, go to bed on time and eat proper meals!

I swear to GOD that I'm not making this up people!

Big Brother is not only here........................, He's looking at YOU, kid!
