Islam shows it's true colors!

What would you say if Pope Gustav (Or whatever his name is.) stood up one day soon and called on the world's Christians to take up arms against the Arab world, in preparation for Armageddon and the Second Coming?

Your first reaction might be that it couldn't happen since Christianity teaches "love one another!" (While Islam goes by that old adage; "An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth!")

Well, it takes two to have a fight kids, ........but it only takes one to start it!

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called on Muslims around the world to mobilize their troops alongside Iran against Israel and the United States to prepare for the coming of the “Mahdi,” * ......seen as “the savior of Islam.“

“We still have a long way to go in order to achieve this. We have to train forces that can stop the obstacles that may hinder the coming of the Mahdi, like the United States and Israel,” said Ali Saeedi, a spokesman for the Iranian leader in statements distributed by Arabic media.

He described Iran’s supreme leader as “a direct representative” of the Mahdi and said following his orders is like “obeying the guided one.”

“Since the armed forces are commanded by the Supreme Leader, they are thus obeying the orders of the awaited Mahdi,” Saeedi explained.

He said Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and armed forces “hold religious authority to prepare for the appearance of the Mahdi.”

Now I have to admit that several Evangelical scholars view developments in the Middle East as signs of the Biblical “last days” before Christ’s return as well, but this is a far cry from urging everyone to arm themselves and get ready!

*This is a long and confusing story that is not accepted by all Muslim's, but basically it says that the Mahdi will come along with Jesus in the End Days! (You know, like Batman and Robin, The Green Hornet and Kato, Starsky and Hutch, Scully and Mulder, Cagney and Lacey, or even Scooby and Shaggy!)
