Houston, we have a problem!

Fateful words, uttered when something went drastically wrong.
In this case, I think we can say: “Canada, we have a problem!”
I was watching the Michael Coren show this evening and he played a tape he made of the anti-something or other rally that was held in Toronto this past weekend.

Demonstrations were held in Toronto on Saturday where thousands gathered outside of the United States consulate to protest the anti-Islam video “Innocence of Muslims” that denounces the sacred Prophet Muhammed.

More than 1,000 people made their way to the 2:30 p.m. protest in Toronto. Many carried placards, sported the Islamic flag and maintained a passionate reproach towards those who permit the movie under the term freedom of speech.The U.S. consulate was blocked off with a minimal police presence; several horses and a few cops. Approximately a dozen police officers were stationed at the protest to maintain order and allow pedestrians to walk along University Avenue.

I said ‘anti something or other rally’ because although it was supposed to be against the film, it was also about adopting Sharia law in Canada, making insulting Mohammad a crime in Canada, death to Israel and Zionists, death to the United States, supremacy of Islam, and last, but not least, support for that asshole Omar Khadr, who is an Egyptian Canadian citizen convicted for war crimes under the United States Military Commissions Act of 2009, including murder in violation of the law of war and providing material support for terrorism.

(On top of that, not one of the protestors has seen the film, but that doesn’t matter because it’s just an excuse to shout about how great Islam is, and to create havoc and mayhem.)

Now the reason I say we have a problem is this folks, I don’t care what they say, because we have free speech here in Canada.

But when a bunch of ignorant, semi-literate, hate filled neanderthals start calling for people who don’t agree with them to be killed ………………………….., then we have a problem.

Toronto is NOT the seventh century Ottoman Empire, and anyone who runs around acting like it is should be sent back to the Middle East, or wherever they came from!

End of story!

(I told you that the Muslims have a hell of a Public Relations problem here in the West, and it’s entirely self-inflicted!)
