Naked cyclist gropes woman

CALGARY – Police are looking for a naked cyclist who they say sexually assaulted a woman on the weekend.
The woman was walking in the city’s south end at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday when a man on a bike knocked her down and groped her.
Police say reports suggest the man was naked at the time.
“She was pushed from behind. She got knocked to her knees,” police spokesman Kevin Brookwell said.
“She started kicking back and fought pretty hard.
“She did exactly what she should have done — it was just enough of a commotion that this individual did not want to be there.”
The woman wasn’t hurt but was shaken up, police said.
The suspect is described as white, between the ages of 35 and 45, approximately 250 lbs., with short hair.
He was riding a dark-coloured bike.
Brookwell said the situation is “odd, to say the least” and said police hope anyone who may have spotted the man will come forward.
“We’ll look at whether sobriety or mental illness played a role.”
