March saw the showing of a new TV series on History Channel:

The Bible is a television miniseries based on the Bible. It is produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett and was broadcast weekly between March 3 and March 31, 2013 on History Channel. Burnett considers the scripted 10-hour series to be the “most important” project he has undertaken. The project was conceived by Burnett and Downey, who are married, after watching Cecil B. DeMille‘s version of The Ten Commandments for the first time since childhood. The series is Mark Burnett’s first scripted project. In addition to Burnett and Downey, executive producers include Richard Bedser and History’s Dirk Hoogstra and Julian P. Hobbs
Now, here is the initial poop on the series………………. it has been called everything from the best thing EVER on TV by right wing Christians, to a piece of crap by people on the other end, and full of historical inaccuracies by those  in the middle!
Be that as sit may, this is not the reason for this article, kids.
untitledxddferMark and his wife, who are about as right wing Republican as ya can get, cast the guy in the picture up top as “THE DEVIL!”
This cause a lot of controversy because good ol’ Satan had a remarkable resemblance to someone we all know and love.
Care to guess who?
That’s right, it was none other than President Barack Obama!
Was this just a coincidence, you might ask!
Apparently not!
If the controversy had died down I would have given them the benefit of the doubt.
BUT!
It’s NOT dying down boys and girls.
No!
Someone is in the background fanning the flames, (no pun intended) and keeping the rumour going.
It’s almost as if the Devil made Mark Burnett do it, don’t cha think?
(Makes ya kind of wonder just how low the Right Wing will stoop!)
