We have a well deserved "Winner of the Day" for ya folks: - British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen and his wife are donating $1 million (900,000 euros) to help Syrian refugees, the charities receiving the money announced Sunday.
The "Borat" star and actress wife Isla Fisher are giving $500,000 to Save the Children to pay for measles vaccinations for children in northern Syria.
They are also donating the same amount to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to help refugees in Syria and neighbouring countries, particularly women and children, with health care, shelter and sanitation.
(We should also point out that Mr. Cohen and his wife are Jewish, while most of the refugees are Muslim!!!)

It took the Ontario resident 209 days to make the crossing in his six metre boat "Socks II."
Beeden's website says the 53-year-old is the first person to complete the 11,296 kilometre crossing from San Francisco to Cairns, Australia. (What makes this effort even more ridiculous is that airline tickets from the States to Australia are now going for well under a thousand bucks!)

BERLIN (AP) — Police in Germany say a man has died after he and two others blew up a condom machine and he was hit in the head by a flying piece of metal.
Officers were alerted to the explosion Friday in Schoeppingen, near the Dutch border, and found cash and condom packets lying on the ground apparently untouched.
A local hospital informed police that a 29-year-old had died after being brought in by two other men. They initially said he had fallen down stairs, but police said Monday one of them later admitted the victim's injuries were related to the explosion.
They say the three men apparently got into a car after triggering the explosion, but the 29-year-old didn't close his door and was hit by debris when the machine exploded. (POLICE SAID THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ESTABLISH WHY THE MEN BLEW UP THE MACHINE!)

While the patties — cow poop mixed with hay, made mainly by women in rural areas and used to fuel fires — have long been available in India's villages, online retailers including Amazon and eBay are now reaching out to the country's ever-increasing urban population.
Some retailers say they're offering discounts for large orders. Some customers are asking for gift wrapping.
In India, where Hindus worship cows as sacred, cow dung cakes have been used for centuries to fuel fires for cooking or Hindu rituals.
Across rural India, piles of drying cow dung are ubiquitous, and malodrorous!

Well folks, they had a big storm all set for Southern Ontario today, but the weather man has changed the forecast, and now says that Montreal, and most of Quebec will get the shitty weather!
