Now I don't really care one way or the other since I don't have a dog in the race, (I sell solar, not wind!) but these conspiracy nuts who are against wind farms are getting not only dangerous, but a little unhinged as well.
First of all, the only reason there is any opposition to them is because the Liberal government didn't do its homework in educating people about the pro's and con's of wind turbines. (They don't have this problem in other Provinces and States because people know what they're talking about!)
This allowed all the wacko's and nut cases to run wild with all sorts of crazy stories about wind farms. (The hum causes insomnia, cancer, irritable bowl syndrome, migraines etc. etc., and the latest one ...., these turbines shake the ground and muddy well water!)Anyway, to get to the point of this rant, the opponents of wind power are now trying to get the courts to declare that energy companies have to prove that they are NOT dangerous or injurious.
In other words, the supposition would be that they ARE bad for WHATEVER reason, and you have to prove that they're not dangerous, instead of the normal way of doing things.
To the credit of the courts they said that this was all bullshit, and the only person a wind turbine was automatically a danger to was Don Quixote!
